Service was okay but the prices are outrageous for the quality and portion sizes of the food. I ordered a wings meal and it cost $9 for 5 grisly chicken nuggets and a very small bowl of cheap boxed macaroni.
Some of the items we wanted to order, they were out of until their next shipment. We still enjoyed the meals we did order. I guess being in a remote location, you have issues with stock and deliveries. Went here for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. They offer soda and tea in souvenir cups, with free refills while you dine. They offer soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and wings for lunch and dinner. An awesome variety of desserts. They offer eggs, meats, French toast, pancakes, gravy, and baked goods for breakfast. Coffee is your typical restaurant coffee and nothing special, but still good. The country ham was excellent. Everything tasted great. Bathrooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and constantly checked on us. They have a great view of the Greenbrier River and Cass Train Depot from the tables along the windows, and the outdoor benches. Free Wi-Fi. No cell service, due to the Quiet Zone from the Greenbank Telescope. Parking is across the street, on the other side of the train tracks. They do offer 3 handicap spaces over in the employee lot. Steep stairs to get up onto the porch and then into the building.
